TARK advised Svensky Kaubanduse AS on the acquisition of the Põltsamaa business unit

Law Firm TARK advised the Estonian-owned company Svensky Kaubanduse AS in a transaction to acquire the Põltsamaa food production business unit from Orkla Eesti AS. In addition to the sale of the factory and brands, the parties have agreed on a future strategic partnership – Orkla Eesti will remain a customer of the Põltsamaa plant, continuing to order various products in the future.

Svensky Kaubanduse AS is an Estonian-owned company with extensive experience, operating across the wholesale, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. The acquisition of the Põltsamaa business unit marks a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion and the strengthening of its market position.

TARK advised Svensky Kaubanduse AS in all stages of the transaction, including conducting the legal due diligence and drafting and negotiating the transaction documents.
